Paid Internship Program Technical Assistance

These trainings offer a practical, systems-focused look at how service providers and regional centers can strengthen employment supports through best practices, streamlined processes, and effective implementation strategies. The first session covers the Paid Internship Program (PIP), sharing tips, tools, and methods for setting up internships, coordinating supports, and using the program efficiently. The second training focuses on the transition to Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE), emphasizing strategies that help individuals move smoothly into integrated work through clear communication, coordinated planning, and strong follow-through. The final training highlights best practices across employment services, including person-centered approaches, quality improvement techniques, and ways to simplify workflows for stronger outcomes. Across all three sessions, participants will walk away with practical tools, templates, and resources they can immediately apply within their programs. These trainings aim to build systems that are efficient, consistent, and truly supportive of individuals pursuing meaningful employment.
